Construction Voucher Giveaway Program

The Downtown Guelph Business Association (DGBA) is launching a new initiative to encourage residents and visitors to continue shopping, dining and supporting local businesses throughout the summer construction season.The Construction Voucher Giveaway Program will distribute $25 Construction Vouchers to shoppers at a different downtown business every Tuesday through Saturday from Tuesday August 4th, as well as via highly-publicised contests in the media. Recipients can redeem their voucher at any retail or restaurant business within the DGBA boundary, helping drive customers throughout the downtown.

How It Works

✔ The first 20 visitors to a featured business each giveaway day will receive a $25 Construction Voucher.

✔ Giveaways will take place Tuesday to Saturday, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

✔ A different downtown business will host the giveaway each day.

✔ Customers can spend their voucher at any business within the DGBA boundary before the expiry date.

What Businesses Need to Know

When a customer presents a Construction Voucher:

• Accept it as $25 toward their purchase
• No cash back
• Record the total transaction amount on the back of the voucher
• Keep the voucher
• Redeem it at the DGBA office within 30 days for reimbursement

Businesses can redeem vouchers at the DGBA office:

Wednesdays & Thursdays
12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
