Overview
Following on from the success of the 2024 Vintage Market, the Downtown Guelph Business Association is delighted to organize this year’s event! Carden Street will be closed to traffic and vendors invited to set up on the street. A high-impact marketing campaign will draw thousands of shoppers to the heart of the city—don’t miss this exciting opportunity to sell and connect with the community!
The Selection Process
The Vintage Marketplace is a juried show. Please be aware that applications from vendors will only be considered if they are accompanied by a detailed description and photographs of the items that are intended to be sold.
Acceptance Criteria
The retail quality, uniqueness and mix of products on offer at the Vintage Market plays an important role in the overall appeal of the event. The following criteria will be considered:
Vintage clothing & accessories
Antiques & collectibles
Retro home decor & furniture
Vinyl records, tapes & vintage electronics
Upcycled or repurposed vintage goods
Handmade items with a vintage flair
Set up
Vendors can choose to bring their own 10 x 10 tent/s and tent weights, borrow a tent and tent weights (limited numbers available – first come first served), or bring a table only and set up under the City Hall awning. All tables, chairs and display equipment are the responsibility of the vendor.
Cost
Set up your own 10 x 10 tent and tent weights- $75
Borrow a 10 x 10 tent and tent weights (limited numbers available – first come first served) – $100
Table only, outside City Hall – $50

Apply by Friday June 20th, 2025
Confirmations ongoing until June 27th, 2025
Payment due by Friday July 18th. No refunds.
