1️⃣ Holiday Hop - 12-5pm
30+ businesses participating in festive shop crawl 💫🛍️ You can expect photos with Santa, holiday crafts, live music, hot drink specials, and additional local vendors setup inside businesses! 

2️⃣ MKT MKT Holiday Market - 10am-4pm 
This market will boast 65+ vendors, and feature musical performances, food vendors, holiday crafts (for kids and adults) and more 💫❄️

🚗 This December the @cityofguelph is offering 1 hour complimentary parking in all parkades during paid hours! 

Here are the details: 

All parkades (Market, West and East)
* 1-hour of complimentary parking during the hours you’d usually have to pay (8am to 6pm).
* Saturdays are a flat fee of $3 for the day (which you only have to pay if you stay longer than 1 hour during the pilot).
* The parkades are always free after 6pm and all day on Sundays.
* Special Event parking rate is still applicable ($5.50 – only applies to the West and East parkade during a Storm Game – complimentary parking still available in the Market Parkade)
 
Fountain Street Parking Lot
* Permit parking only Monday to Friday during the day, complimentary parking in the evening.
* 1-hour of complimentary parking on Saturdays
* Sundays are free.
 
Macdonell Lot and on-street parking remain 2-hours of complimentary parking (once per day) – with no time restrictions at night and on Sundays.
 
This pilot runs through the holiday season until January 7, 2024.

Folks, come on DT Guelph to shop, get mugged, robbed of your cell phone, harassed by aggressive panhandlers, get the tray of coffee knocked out of your hands and enjoy the smell of urine. All with free parking for an hour. What a deal. I'll see you at the mall.

Spirit of the Season Day 1 Recap! ❄️ 

Thank you to everyone who made it out to Day #1 of SOTS! 

The first day, of the first year of Spirit of the Season, and we appreciate everyone who came out to celebrate with us, the vendors and small businesses who braved the cold, rain, and snow, and the team working round the clock to make this event happen. 

As we go into day #2, you can expect the Santa Parade, Tree Lighting, and more!
