Wednesday Meditation Class in September – Freedom from Painful Emotions

September 8 @ 7:00 pm - September 29 @ 8:30 pm

$12

SUNDAYS IN SEPTEMBER

FREEDOM FROM PAINFUL EMOTIONS
MEDITATION CLASSES
ONLINE AND ONSITE
7 – 8:30PM

As happiness and suffering are states of mind, if we are to find the happiness we seek an understanding of our mind is essential. Through learning how our mind works, we can begin to bring our mind under control, and thereby improve the quality of our life, both now and in the future.

The course is the first in our fall series based on How to Understand the Mind, a practical guide that offers deep insights into the nature and functions of the mind. It explains how to develop and maintain a light and positive mind through recognizing and then abandoning states of mind that harm us, and replacing them with peaceful and beneficial ones.

Join Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Kunden for Wednesdays in September for a series of classes that explore Buddhist teachings and meditations and learn how to control and eventually eliminate those painful emotions that disturb our mind.

You are also welcome to join us for this class on Sunday afternoons at 2:30pm.

Attend one class or the entire series. Everyone welcome.

There is limited space onsite for class (please see website to check for covid-19 updates). Please text 226-486-2417 if you would like to attend the onsite class.
