Improv Your Life
November 4 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
An event every month that begins at 7:00pm on day First of the month, repeating until December 2, 2019
Leave behind your judgments, self-censorship, and critical voice, and come in, come in!
Welcome to our supportive and accepting sharing circle, where all feelings are valid, and we want you to succeed. Share whatever is going on with you, and watch others act it out in front of you — or perhaps the fantasy version of your life! Relax, laugh, and play in this therapeutic and fun environment.
This workshop, hosted by Embrace Network and facilitated by Expressive Arts Therapist and Priestess Lauren Stein, combines conversation, role-playing, fantasy fulfillment, catharsis, and divine foolery. No previous experience is required, except life experience.
~ Become more effective at communicating in an authentic way
~ Connect with others in a relaxed environment
~ Step out of your comfort zone and experience more confidence
~ Feel more creative
~ Most importantly – have fun!!!
Lauren is a performer, writer, magic-maker, community-builder, expressive arts therapist, and generally fun to be around. She creates and performs one-woman improvised plays, her latest being Laurentina’s Couch, a show about therapy that she brings to downtown Guelph.
Lauren works with individuals and couples as a therapist, counsellor, and coach in her private practice. She has a Bachelor’s in Drama from the University of Guelph, a Master’s in Expressive Arts Therapy from the European Graduate School, and is an ordained Hebrew Priestess.
