A Guelph Story

Mainstreet : Guide to Shopping & Dining

Look up look up !

From June until October, visitors to downtown can enjoy street light banners that highlight events, personalities, tragedies, achievements, and milestones that have come to make Guelph the city we all know and love. 151 banners on Norfolk, Wyndham and Quebec Streets, one for each year from Confederation, showcase Guelph's story within the Canada 150 celebrations.

As you browse each banner, you can find a more detailed description for each story at www.Guelph150.ca. This website hosts an interactive timeline for all ages to browse the history easily. It also serves as a great resource for those who are unable to visit the banners in person.
