Music Weekends

Every Saturday and Sunday, January 7th to March 12th

Launching in Downtown Guelph in January 2017, Music Weekends is an exciting new live music project developed in partnership with Regional Tourism and various local music promoters.  Over 20 performances will take place every Saturday and Sunday afternoon at various downtown venues for 10 weeks from January 7th to March 12th.

With the support of Hillside, Kazoo, GAIN, Silence, CFRU and Kaleidoscope Music, the series will present a wide-ranging programme of swing, bluegrass, roots, afro-funk, 60s surf and more.

Guelph is well known for it’s indie band scene that thrives after dark throughout the year.  The Music Weekends series aims to bring that scene to those of us who rarely make it out in the evenings and would still like to enjoy live performances with our friends and family.  Bring the kids !  These PWYC events are open to music lovers of all ages.
