About the project

Bell Canada is undertaking private infrastructure work on to provide service to a customer. Work is being completed by Aecon Utilities.

April 10-12

Work is expected to begin April 10 and take about three days to complete.

No right turns from Norfolk onto Macdonell

There will be a northbound lane reduction on Norfolk Street approaching Macdonell Street. There will be no right turns from Norfolk onto Macdonell throughout the work.

Pedestrian access

Pedestrian access will be maintained with minor restrictions as equipment is moved around the site. Pedestrians are asked to follow the direction provided by signs and/or on-site workers. 

Property and business access and parking

All businesses in the construction area remain open and accessible throughout construction.

Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways in the construction area during working hours (7 a.m.–7 p.m.) Construction activities and equipment movement may temporarily impact access to private property and delays should be expected.

No Guelph Transit routes affected

Transit Service will not be impacted by this work.

City services

There will be no interruption to any City services during construction. Waste collection will not be affected. Please continue to place your green, blue and grey carts at the curb, as per your regular schedule.
